Aim Publicity is an independent entertainment publicity agency specialising in film and television. We are looking for a bright, reliable and highly organised Part-Time Junior Administrator to support our small team. This is an entry-level position, and previous office experience would be helpful. It offers an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible part-time work and experience within the entertainment and publicity industry. The position will initially be offered on a three-month basis, with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will work approximately two to three days per week, with the precise days and working hours agreed in advance. The role is primarily office-based and involves handling post, organising publicity materials and providing general office support. Essential skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel • Confident using social-media platforms and creating clear, engaging content • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • A keen eye for detail, spelling and grammar • Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions carefully • A fast learner with common sense and a positive, can-do attitude • An interest in film, television and entertainment • Willing to learn about all aspects of the business Key responsibilities • Managing and updating databases • Gathering and logging media coverage • Updating campaign databases • Creating and scheduling social-media content across relevant platforms • Assisting with website updates • Research • Preparing labels, packing materials and handling postal mail-outs • Organising publicity materials, stock and stationery • Providing general administrative support for the day-to-day running of the business Office training will be provided Please note the position offers an opportunity to learn about entertainment publicity, but its primary focus will be practical office, administrative and social-media support.
