Zebras Children and Adults Charity is looking for a passionate and organized Volunteer Coordinator to help us grow and nurture our amazing team of volunteers. If you love connecting with people and want to make a meaningful difference in your local community, we would love to hear from you! About the Role Volunteers are the heart of our charity. As our Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring we have a strong, happy, and supported team. Working directly from our welcoming Community Hub Space, you will be the friendly face welcoming new volunteers and guiding them through their journey with us. Key Responsibilities Recruitment: Actively recruit new volunteers from the local community to support our charity’s ongoing projects and events. Onboarding: Welcome new team members and help them settle into their roles. Ongoing Support: Be the primary point of contact for volunteers, offering guidance, motivation, and a listening ear to ensure they feel valued and supported. Coordination: Help match volunteers to the roles and tasks that best suit their skills and interests. What We Are Looking For - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - A friendly, approachable, and empathetic nature. - Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently. - A genuine passion for the work of Zebras Children and Adults Charity. - Previous experience in coordinating or managing people is a bonus, but absolutely not essential! What We Offer You Direct Support: You will not be doing this alone! You will work closely with and receive ongoing, direct support from our charity's CEO.
