We are seeking experienced Support Workers as key members of our team. Enfield Carers Centre, is a local charity providing holistic support to Carers across the borough with Home Care and Day Care as well as support to Carers. Who Should Apply? - The Person Specification provides you with a breakdown of the skills, knowledge and experience required to succeed in the role and highlights whether these are either essential or desirable to the role. - This post is subject to an enhanced CRB/DBS check. Key Responsibilities - Provide a warm, engaging, safe space older /vulnerable adults - Provide compassionate person-centred care and support - Make a meaningful difference in the lives of those using the service - Work closely with carers, family members and clients to achieve stated outcomes - Assisting with low-level mobility (e.g. walking, gentle support, wheelchair assistance) - Facilitating or helping to deliver individual and group activities Benefits of Working with Us - 25 days annual leave (pro rata) plus 8 bank holidays - Sick pay - Company pension - Health Cash Plan (eligible after 3 months in service) - Paid training face-to-face and online - Free DBS Check - Staff wellbeing events - Company events Hours & Pay Hours: Full time option or Part time option (14 hours per week covering 9am – 5pm Thursday and Friday) Holiday: 25 days and 8 Bank Holidays, per annum (pro rata) Salary: £26,936 per annum (pro rata)
