Wonder Walk Volunteers Needed!

Chickenshed needs your help on Sunday 7th June If you’re interested in joining us and supporting the organisation and logistics of the Wonder Walk, we’d love to hear from you! Wonder Walk roles We have the following roles available on the day, on Sun 7 Jun. Depending on the role, the shifts will be from a minimum of 2 hours of volunteering time. All volunteers are welcome to join us to celebrate at Chickenshed after the walk. Registration Registering new walkers on the day. Collecting personal details, taking registration fee payments, distributing walker numbers and goody bags (and t-shirts where applicable) for new registrations only. Goody bags and walker number distribution Checking off pre-registered participants and distributing walker numbers and goody bags (plus t-shirts where applicable) Route Marshal Stationed along the 5K or 10K routes, you’ll guide walkers on their way, cheer them on, and help keep the energy high and the smiles going! Ad hoc based at Chickenshed Set-Up Team Help prepare for the Wonder Walk by setting up at Chickenshed from approximately 8:30am. This may include arranging signage, setting up tables, and getting the site ready to welcome participants. Welcome, Medal and Clear-Up Team From around 11:15am, you’ll be ready to welcome walkers back, hand out medals, and assist with clearing up after the event. /Logistics Moving/transporting across the route/s where necessary.
