We are recruiting both full-time (1FTE) and part-time (0.7FTE) teachers and are looking for creative, enthusiastic and inspiring individuals from a range of subject backgrounds — with a particular focus on specialisms such as Media and Digital Skills, Sport and Multi-skills/ practical subjects, including a handyperson-style focus (e.g. basic maintenance, DIY, tools and practical problem-solving), who can inspire learners through hands-on, real-world learning. You don’t need to be an SEN specialist to apply. What matters most is your passion for teaching, your subject expertise, and your willingness to work with and learn alongside young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). If your background is in Media, Digital Skills, IT or creative digital subjects and you’re excited by inclusive education, we would love to hear from you. Our students have a range of complex physical, sensory and learning needs, alongside huge creativity, potential and ambition. They are eager to develop practical digital and media skills that support communication, independence and future opportunities. You’ll be joining a supportive, inspirational and creative team within our Supported Learning Centre at our Southgate Campus, where collaboration, innovation and student-centred teaching are central to everything we do. What we’re looking for: Creative, enthusiastic and inspiring teachers (full-time or part-time) Strong subject expertise in Media and Digital Skills (essential), with IT or related creative specialisms welcomed A genuine passion for teaching and belief in the potential of all learners A willingness to work with young people with complex SEND needs (training and support provided) Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills A relevant degree (or equivalent) and a Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd), or a willingness to work towards one Experience of SEND, PMLD, complex needs or augmentative communication is welcomed but not essential — we are committed to developing the right people with the right mindset.
