Receptionist / Machine Technician VHR Health Optimisation Clinic – Hadley Wood & Radlett VHR is a modern health optimisation and longevity clinic dedicated to helping people feel, function, and perform at their best. We combine advanced wellness technology with a calm, professional, and caring environment, and we are now looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Receptionist / Machine Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is confident with technology, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a key role in ensuring our therapies are delivered safely, smoothly, and professionally. The Role As a Receptionist / Machine Technician, you will split your time between front-of-house client care and supporting the operation of our advanced therapy equipment. Full training is provided - no prior clinical experience is required, but a calm, responsible approach is essential. Key responsibilities include: - Welcoming clients and creating a warm, professional first impression - Managing bookings, payments, and memberships - Explaining treatments clearly and confidently to clients - Operating and preparing equipment such as cryotherapy, red light/NIR, hyperbaric oxygen, and infrared sauna (after training) - Carrying out safety checks and basic cleaning between sessions - Monitoring clients during treatments and responding calmly to any issues - Maintaining a clean, organised, and calm clinic environment - Supporting the wider team with daily clinic operations Who We’re Looking For You might be perfect for this role if you are: - Friendly, professional, and confident with people - Calm under pressure and able to follow protocols - Comfortable learning how to use machines and follow safety procedures - Reliable, punctual, and organised - Interested in health, wellness, or longevity (a plus, but not essential) Previous experience in reception, hospitality, beauty, healthcare, or fitness is helpful but not required - attitude, reliability, and care matter most.
