Lizzie’s Cucina is a warm, family-run Italian restaurant in Oakwood N14 known for its re-laxed atmosphere, authentic dishes and friendly service. As a member of the Front Of House Team, you’ll welcome guests, take orders with care and accuracy, serve food and drinks, and help create a positive dining experience from start to finish. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and uphold our high standards of hospitality, presentation and customer care. Principal Responsibilities: • Provide excellent wait service to ensure customer satisfaction • Take orders and deliver food and beverages efficiently • Make menu recommendations, answer questions and share additional information with guests • Work evening and weekend shifts (£12.21 per hour minimum, depending on experience, plus tips) Other Responsibilities • Greet and escort guests to their tables • Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or allergies) • Prepare tables with linens, silverware and glasses • Upsell additional items when appropriate • Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system • Serve food and drinks, deliver and collect bills and payments • Clear tables and ensure a clean, organised dining area • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff • Follow all health and safety regulations • Provide outstanding customer service at all times Requirements and Skills: • Previous experience as a waiter or waitress • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling • Strong communication and listening skills • Patience, attentiveness and a friendly attitude • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team • Flexibility for evening and weekend shifts • Food safety training desirable Job Type: Part-time Pay: Dependent on experience Benefits: Discounted or free meals
