Mod-Roc Vase Workshop

Join Yolanda for an immersive fun day exploring the art of mod-roc and how we can repurpose discarded paper and card to create fun vases. This workshop will take place over three sessions as drying time will need to be considered. In the first session, you will be introduced to mod-roc, a technique similar to papermâché. Using paper, card, balloons and mod-roc, you will create the main body of the vase. Once completed, the vases will be left to dry. During the second session, we will paint the vases white as a base and explore pattern, mark making and colour. The last session will include completing our designs with acrylic paint! Let your imagination flow and indulge yourself with colour and pattern and simply have fun designing your own vase! No need to worry about transporting vases home with wet paint as DAC will keep the vases until dry. Please note booking a ticket for the first session automatically includes entry to the remaining two sessions at no extra cost.
