As twilight falls and darkness descends upon the estate, prepare to journey through centuries of chilling tales and eerie secrets. Join us this October for an unforgettable evening as the mysterious past is brought to life under the cover of darkness. Wander through the atmospheric gardens and listen closely to stories from long ago. Dare to uncover the secrets of Capel Manor Gardens this Halloween? Led by an expert guide, this after hours and adult-only event will take visitors through the torch lit pathways of our 30 acre Gardens whilst unravelling Capel Manor’s ghoulish secrets. Not usually available to the public, the 18th century Manor House will open its doors with a private tour of the ground and first floors. For the first time, ticket holders will have the opportunity to explore Capel Manor’s archives and view a theatrical re-telling of the estate’s rich history which dates back to the 13th century. To end the evening, unwind with a glass of locally produced wine from our Forty Hall Vineyard, perfectly paired with a delicious charcuterie board and nibbles. This is a rare opportunity to uncover Capel Manor’s hidden stories with an expert guide, enjoying exclusive access to archives and footage never revealed to the public before.
