'After You, Mr. Ryder' Performance (Enfield Poets Literary Festival)

10:30 — 11:30am - Sunday, 27 September 2026

Venue: Forty Hall
Forty Hill, London, EN2 9HA, England,

After You, Mr. Ryder is All Saints Sessions’ impressionistic take on Kazuo Ishiguro’s dream-like novel The Unconsoled, which debuted at The Music Room, Bloomsbury in 2024. The show explores the novel’s themes of memory, culture, celebrity, human connection and childhood trauma with new text, electronic textures and field recordings, transporting the Great Hall audience to Ishiguro’s mythical concert hall. Poet Cheryl Moskowitz and composer/sound artist Alastair Gavin’s All Saints Sessions is gaining a growing reputation for innovative and memorable poetry and music performances presented in surround sound. Their show The Kiss of a Wave was commissioned by Poetry in Aldeburgh 2025 and played to a sold-out Long Gallery audience in Forty Hall last February. They will perform in the Great Hall. The Enfield Poets Literary Festival is a celebration of words, voices and creativity in our community, bringing together established and emerging writers for readings, workshops, discussions and more.
