Human Rights Heroes Children's Workshop (Enfield Poets Literary Festival)

An inclusive and inspiring workshop for children aged six and over. Interactive readings, conversations, time for questions, games and art – introducing young people to the stories of Human Rights Heroes such as Nelson Mandela, Harriet Tubman, Shirin Ebadi, Eleanor Roosevelt, Ida Wells and Fredrick Douglass. Children will learn about Universal Human Rights, and how they apply to their everyday lives. Finally, decorate and wear your own superhero mask to take home! Please note: all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the workshop. The Enfield Poets Literary Festival is a celebration of words, voices and creativity in our community, bringing together established and emerging writers for readings, workshops, discussions and more.
