Join two poets in translation, after their performance at Torriano in 2024 - Marina Sanchez and Katerine Gallagher are together again, reading in French.
Marina Sánchez is an award-winning poet and translator, she has been widely published in literary journals including Wet Grain, Modern Poetry in Translation (online), The SHOp, South Bank, Acumen, Obsessed with Pipework, Magma and The Alchemy Spoon,
Her pamphlet Mexica Mix was a joint winner of the Verve Poetry Competition (2020) and has been well reviewed. Her pamphlet Dragon Child (Acumen, 2014), was Book of the Month in the poetry kit website.
Katherine Gallagher is an Australian poet living and working in London. Translations of her poems have appeared in French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Romanian and Serbo-Croat. Gallagher translated from French to English Jean-Jacques Celly's poems in The Sleepwalker with Eyes of Clay.
