From Page to Performance Workshop (Enfield Poets Literary Festival)

The content of a poem is of prime importance! But if you want an audience to get the best out of it, have you thought about the way you perform it? Bring a couple of your poems and we'll recite them to the rest of the group, get feedback, then consider all the factors which make the very best performance. We will discuss things like posture, learning a poem by heart, voice projection, eye contact, pausing and pace. The Enfield Poets Literary Festival is a celebration of words, voices and creativity in our community, bringing together established and emerging writers for readings, workshops, discussions and more.
