Ponders End Community Health Pop Up

All Welcome! FREE Event! Ponders End Community Health Pop Up in partnership with the United Reform Church gives residents the opportunity to find out about the local health and wellbeing support that is available to them. We know it isn’t always easy to know where to go for advice or which services are available locally, so the aim is to bring a wide range of organisations together in one friendly and accessible community setting. There are 17 health, wellbeing and community partners attending on the day, offering free health checks, advice, information and signposting including: - Blood Pressure Checks - Diabetic Checks - Vaccination Info - Hepatitis B & C screening - Body Composition Scans - Healthy Lifestyle Coaches - Talking Therapies - Stop Smoking Support - Family First Aid You will also be able to speak to teams about areas including: - Healthy Eating - Cancer Screening - Mental Wellbeing - Early Years (0-5) universal therapies (which is an amazing opportunity for parents concerned about general aspects of their pre-schooler’s development) - Oral health - Carers’ support - and other local community services such as UCAN, Edmonton Community Partnership and Connect to Work.
