Edinburgh Fringe Previews: Flo & Joan and Kate Dolan

Join musical double act Flo & Joan and comedian Kate Dolan as they work up an hour each of comedy before heading up to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Flo & Joan Flo & Joan are the multi-award winning British musical comedy duo. The pianopercussion pair have played to sold-out audiences across the UK, North America and Australia including festival appearances at Glastonbury, Latitude, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and JFL Montreal Comedy Festival. Their comedy special Alive on Stage is now streaming in over 200 countries on Amazon Prime and their high-profile television appearances include Live at the Apollo (BBC2), The Royal Variety Performance (ITV), Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day (BBC1), Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club (ITV) and The Russell Howard Hour (Sky) and their songs regularly go viral online with over 75 million views across social media. Kate Dolan Kate Dolan is an award-winning comedian from the Midlands whose star is rapidly rising both in the UK and internationally. Kate’s debut show, A Different Kind of Unhinged, has cemented her reputation as a comedic force, winning the Emerging Artist Award at the Adelaide Fringe 2024. Her second show, The Critic, won the 2025 Golden Gibbo Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, awarded to the best independent local artist. Kate is the first British winner. It transferred to the Edinburgh Fringe where she received the Skinny-Fest “Besties” Breakthrough Award 2025. Her third show, whish she will be performing at DAC, called ‘Trout’ won the Director’s Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2026. Dugdale Arts Centre’s previews will bring incredible well recognised comedians to share their talent with you against the backdrop of our intimate theatre.
