We All Come from Somewhere Else - Poetry & Music

Join us in the beautiful Long Gallery at Forty Hall for an afternoon of poetry and music with Ruth Padel, Maggie Harris and sitar maestro Vijay Jagtap. This event brings together voices and traditions that show how difference can inspire us and how diversity enriches every artistic moment. The poets will share work that reflects the many ways our stories connect, while the timeless sound of the sitar creates an atmosphere that is both calming and uplifting. This event offers a rare chance to experience poetry and classical music in perfect harmony. It will be a celebration of beauty, creativity and the strength found in bringing varied expressions together.
