Dugdale Arts Centre and Reggae Choir join forces for the second annual Pure Vibes All Dayer, an exciting, family-friendly celebration of reggae music and culture. This year we’re celebrating UK Sound System culture with Roots & Riddims. From 10am-late, we have a jam-packed day full of live music, workshops and talks. Don't miss our headline events: Stick To My Roots: In Conversation with Tippa Irie From his trailblazing beginnings in Saxon Sound, legend Tippa Irie joins us foe a very special 'In Conversation' led by broadcaster and Reggae historian, Colin 'CeeBee' Brown. Reggae Choir Live Shows Powerful matinee and evening performances, guaranteed to life your spirits. Sound System Culture Panel One of the first female DJs at Notting Hill Carnival and Founding Director of Lin Kam Art, Linett Kamala joins us to host a panel discussion charting UK Sound System Culture with some of the biggest names in the game. & More Throughout the day, enjoy a variety of fun (and delicious) activities to get stuck into. From steel pan demos and Caribbean cooking tutorials, to singing workshops and dance-a-thons, Pure Vibes All Dayer is the ultimate family-friendly reggae experience.
