Girlguiding in Enfield

‘We help girls to know they can do anything!’ Through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure we empower girls to find their voice, inspiring them to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community. More than 300,000 girls meet as Rainbows (aged 4-7), Brownies (7-10), Guides (10-14) and Rangers (14-18) across the country and in Enfield we have many groups meeting each week during term time giving girls fun packed evenings of games, badges, crafts, cooking plus many trips and camps away! Girl guiding offers the chance to make new friendships, develop lifetime skills, be adventurous and with 100+ years of empowering girls and young women, we have proven impact on girls’ confidence and wellbeing. All adult volunteers carry out compulsory recruitment checks who work directly with girls and have training on safety and safeguarding, including how to carry out risk assessments, respond in emergencies and handle child protection concerns.
