Inspired by the rich culinary heritage of Kolkata — one of India’s great food cities — we create authentic Indian dishes with a focus on flavour, craftsmanship and uncompromising quality. Unlike conventional Indian takeaways, Shaabeki is not about mass-produced food or generic restaurant-style dishes. Our food is carefully handcrafted, using premium-quality ingredients, traditional cooking techniques and thoughtfully balanced spices. From slow-cooked curries and aromatic rice dishes to distinctive starters, vegetarian favourites and traditional Indian desserts, every dish is prepared with attention to detail and a genuine respect for its origins. Our Kolkata inspiration gives Shaabeki its distinctive character. Kolkata’s cuisine reflects centuries of Indian culinary tradition and cultural influences, resulting in food that is wonderfully diverse, sophisticated and full of flavour. The food exceeded expectations 5 I ordered from Shaabeki in North London and honestly, the food exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for proper Kolkata-style food with real homemade flavours, this is one of the best true Indian food experiences I’ve had in London. Every dish tasted fresh, flavourful, and genuinely authentic — the kind of Indian cuisine that reminds you of home-cooked food from Kolkata. You can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. The food arrived beautifully packed, hygienic, and still perfectly fresh on delivery. Their punctual delivery and great customer service made the whole experience even better. Communication was excellent throughout, and the attention to detail was impressive from start to finish. It’s so difficult to find authentic Indian food in Enfield / Southgate (N14) that delivers both restaurant quality and homemade warmth, but this Indian home catering business absolutely does. Highly recommended for anyone looking for Bengali catering, Indian catering in London, or delicious homemade Indian food for family events, parties, or special occasions. Will definitely be ordering again!

Absolutely delicious, authentic, and made with care. 5 When I first met Priyanka, she invited me to her home and cooked a curry that was so good that the first message I sent her afterwards was: “Please, please give me the recipe!” She did, and I genuinely tried to recreate it. It turned out okay, but it was nowhere near as good as hers. Now Priyanka has started her own small business, and we finally ordered from her. The food brought back exactly the same amazing taste I remember from that evening. Absolutely delicious, authentic, and made with care. Wishing her every success – we'll definitely be ordering again!

Absolutely loved the food! 5 Absolutely loved the food! It brought back the same nostalgic flavours I remember enjoying at Bengali gatherings and celebrations while growing up. Every dish tasted authentic, homely, and full of flavour. We ordered the Fish fry, Shaabeki chicken, Lamb kosha, Pulao rice and Lamb kosha + Pulao rice mish mash, and every single dish was delicious. The lamb kosha was rich and perfectly cooked, the fish fry was crisp and flavourful and the Shaabeki chicken had that comforting traditional taste. A special mention to the Buttery Pulao ( pulao rice), which was an absolute hit with my little one. The portion sizes were very generous for the price, offering excellent value for money. I was also really impressed with the packaging, especially the combo meal, it was thoughtfully packed and neatly presented. It’s wonderful to see authentic Bengali home-style food being served with so much care. Wishing you all the very best and will definitely be ordering again.
