ELODS

ELODS is an amateur theatre company based in Enfield, staging both classic and contemporary musicals at Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar. We are a fully inclusive society, welcoming adults of all ages, and children when productions require performers under 16. With a dedicated team of performers and volunteers, we aim to produce high-quality shows to a near-professional standard. We work with talented local directors and choreographers who bring fresh ideas to each production, alongside our resident Musical Director, Mark Newport, who ensures every show is musically strong and engaging. We are delighted to present Guys and Dolls, running 13th–17th October 2026. This dazzling musical comedy transports audiences to the bright lights and bustling streets of 1950s New York, where high-stakes gamblers, glamorous showgirls and unexpected romance collide. Featuring beloved songs including “Luck Be a Lady” and “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat”, this timeless classic follows smooth-talking gambler Sky Masterson as he takes on his most surprising wager yet — winning the heart of straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown. Meanwhile, Nathan Detroit struggles to keep both his floating crap game and his long-suffering fiancée, Adelaide, from falling apart. Bursting with humour, memorable characters, vibrant choreography and toe-tapping tunes, Guys and Dolls is a crowd-pleasing musical treat guaranteed to leave audiences smiling.
