Enfield Ignatians is an open and welcoming rugby club. We welcome all members of the community. The Club aims to ensure that players, coaches, parents, spectators and volunteers uphold the core values of Rugby Union; Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.
We have a huge Youth Section offering the most fantastic, fully inclusive and non-contact Tag rugby for age groups U6 to U8 (School years Reception to Yr3) and the gradual introduction of contact rugby from U9s (School Yr4) right through to Colts (U18) all competing in both regional and National leagues.
All training sessions are run by RFU qualified coaches. We also offer Girls rugby from U6 to U18. Our focus is around ensuring training is always fun, active, purposeful, enjoyable and safe.
Enfield Ignatians RFC is North London’s premier rugby club. The Men’s First XV is playing in Counties 2 Middx. We are currently in the process of establishing a senior women’s team.
Having recently upgraded our clubhouse changing facilities, which are amongst the best around, we are a club on the up and would love to welcome any new players of any age and gender to the club.
We Offer:
1. A wide selection of senior and junior teams playing a high standard of rugby, all players are welcomed.
2. A purpose-built clubhouse, available for hire by members, including bar, kitchen, and fantastic changing facilities with integrated showers and toilets.
3. A high standard of coaching using modern training equipment and qualified coaches.
4. Four playing pitches and a training pitch with floodlights, all yards from the clubhouse.
5. An active social scene.
6. Annual tours, offering cultural exchange and some rugby.
7. The opportunity to apply for international tickets through the club.
We aim to provide all players with an enjoyable rugby experience, playing at the level they want to.
Times:
The senior men’s team train Tuesday and Thursday 7.30pm to 9.00pm, under floodlights, and play on Saturday afternoons.
The senior women’s team train Wednesday’s at 6:30 pm, under floodlights, and play on Saturday afternoons.
Junior and minis train and play on Sunday mornings from 9:30 am.
