Enfield Carers Centre
Enfield Carers Centre (ECC) is a local charity offering essential support and advice for unpaid Carers living in the borough or caring for an Enfield resident. In 2020, we teamed up with colleagues from Carers Trust Lea Valley Crossroads Care Service, which has delivered homecare services for 35 years. Our joint venture enables us to share our wealth of caring experience by providing a one-stop shop for all caring needs.
As well as homecare, training, advice and health and wellbeing services, our brand-new, vibrant Day Care Community Hub offers adults with care needs a safe place to come for activities, refreshments and company, five days a week.
Our team understands the importance of respite for Carers, which is why we go above and beyond to offer tailored care that reflects your individual needs.
What is a Carer?
A Carer is a person looking after a relative, friend or partner who’s frail and elderly, has a mental illness, a disability, a long-term or life-limiting illness, or a substance misuse condition. A Carer provides unpaid support to someone who could not manage without them. We’re here to offer a wide range of services to allow Carers a life outside caring and to support them in continuing in their caring role.
