Enfield Swim Squad 5 My son joined the Learning team at Edmonton Green on Sunday mornings, and progressed rapidly through stages 1-8 and the got selected for the swim squad. It is very well organised and good value for money and the coaches are all very helpful and kind in a relaxed environment

5 Adult improver group - really patient teacher who helped me improve my backstroke in the first lesson. Worked with my total lack of fitness. Can't wait for next week.

Swimming 5 Both my daughters are working their way through the ESS swimming programme. It is far more than just learning to swim, it is a way of life. They have both made some very good friends and increased their social circle. It has given them the opportunity to represent the club at various swimming events and the Borough at the London Youth Games. all of which would not have happened if it was not for ESS Keep up the good work!

children are members of Ess 5 All three of my kids have been and are still in the ESS program at different levels to suit their ability. A wide range of squads (from beginners through to competitive and beyond into Masters) ensure all swim with similar abilities and have the opportunity of moving squads throughout their career. Nothing more fun than watching your kids glide through the water unaided, whilst you catch up on all the gossip with other like minded parents at poolside. I would definately recommend ESS to all within the local community who are actively looking or haven't even considered swimming for their children.

5 My son started to learn to swim with Enfield Swim Squad at Arnos Grove when he was 4 years old. The teachers were in the water with him to start with teaching in very small groups. Slowly but surely they gave him the confidence to let go of the teacher, put his head in the water and actually swim by himself. They went at the pace that was right for him so much so that he went from being frightened of the water to loving being in it.From that the focus has been on stroke technique and improvement, little by little, whilst maintaining a relaxed fun environment and a sense of achievement.8 years later he is now swimming competitively, many times a week as his sport of choice. The coaching continues to be professional and engaging with a balance on improvement and fun.I couldn't recommend Enfield Swim Squad highly enough. It is full of teachers that are passionate about swimming and caring about swimmers.

swimming lessons 5 The swim teachers at Enfield Swim Squad are excellent and cater for all abilities. Both my children had lessons with Enfield Swim Squad and as a result are very confident swimmers. They both loved it so much they have carried on to the competitive squads. Swimming has given them an introduction to sport at a competitive level but more importantly they have both gained confidence socially and made great friends.

5 Learning to swim is a life skill which all should seek to achieve but especially our children. Water is all around us and being able to swim may just save a life. Both of my daughters learnt to swim from a very early age starting off in the council classes but quickly moving on to Phoenix House. They were expertly taught by excellent teachers in well supervised groups and the skills developed have led my daughters to be strong swimmers rather than someone who can just about get to the other end. The energy and enthusiasm of the teachers and their assistants, who were all ex competitive swimmers, really showed through and their desire for my children to enjoy learning to swim and to achieve the best they could was apparent straight from the start. They were able to move through the classes at a rate that suited them but also allowed them to develope their swimming to a very high standard. I would whole heartedly recommend Enfield Swim Squad Learn to Swim programme.

5 All three of my children have learnt to swim with Enfield Swim Squad and thoroughly enjoyed it. The small classes really pay off and my children could not wait to go every week. Two of my children went on to competitive swimming while the youngest decided not to continue and take up a different sport. However she is a confident swimmer and still regularly goes for free swimming. If you are looking for a friendly place for your child or yourself to 'learn-to-swim' than I would highly recommend ESS!

5 Both our son and daughter went through this learn to swim programme and I would happily recommend it. Our children tried both ESS Learn to Swim and the local council run programme and much preferred the ESS programme. They learned how to be safe in and around the water, but also learned good stroke technique across all strokes. This led seamlessly in to competitive swimming which they both enjoyed tremendously. Our son (16) went on to compete at National Championship in 2014 but has now stopped swimming to focus on school work (but and is still involved with ESS on the coaching side). Our daughter (14) is still swimming competitively with ESS and loves the sport and swimming with this club. She has had many opportunities through swimming, competing at National and International competitions.ESS is a very friendly club and both our children have made a lot of great friends at the club (as have we as parents). The teaching and coaching is first class and really helps the children achieve their goals and unlock potential.Swimming is an important life skill to learn but also a great sport for kids to be involved in. It can help in many areas including self-confidence, dealing with adversity, handling success. However, the great thing is that children love it.Enfield Swim Squad is a great place to learn to swim and provides opportunity to continue swimming on to whatever level your children want to take it too.

Swimming ! 5 All 3 of my girls have learned to swim through Enfield Swim Squad. They have loved it! 2 continued on with competitive swimming and have made friends for life. There is also an active squad for older swimmers who don't want to go down the competing route but who want to keep fit.

Learn to swim 5 As a former chairman of Edmonton Phoenix swimming club from where Enfield swimming learn to swim was spawned. I can say that the philosophy will remain in the development of good swimming practices across the board.

swimming lessons 5 All three of my children learnt to swim through Enfield Swim Squad and really enjoyed it. The classes are small and the teachers are friendly. The teachers are all swimmers themselves (which is not necessarily always the case somewhere else). Many classes have a teacher and an assistant. This worked well with my youngest daughter who was a bit nervous to start with and got lots of individual attention. I can highly recommend swimming lessons with ESS!

Enfield swim squad 3 Great place to learn to swim, and unlike the council lessons, offers the opportunity to be part of a comprtitive team making friends for life.

Enfield Swim Squad 5 ESS are a wonderful balance between a large, proffesional and successful club mixed with the attitude and stance of your friendly, local, community driven club. With ESS you can learn to really push your limits within swimming to the highest levels, or just swim non-competitively for your own fitness and leisure.
