There will be three sessions available to book, with the headteacher’s presentation beginning promptly at 4.30pm, 6.00pm and 7.30pm Each session will last approximately 90 minutes and will begin with a presentation from the headteacher, followed by a guided tour of the school. During the tour, families will have the opportunity to visit subject areas, meet members of staff and learn more about the curriculum and opportunities available at Highlands.

Our Open Morning provides families with the opportunity to visit Highlands during a normal school day, see the school in action and experience what day-to-day life at Highlands is like.

We are proud of our very successful Sixth Form and our talented Sixth Form students. We set high standards of work, and have high expectations of our students, both as learners and as role models. In return, our students can expect excellent teaching which inspires a love of learning and individual expert help and advice regarding progression routes to university, higher education and employment as well as a team of staff who care about the well-being of all Sixth Form students. We offer a wide range of courses including A Levels and BTEC subjects at Level 3 as well as some Level 2 options. We also offer GCSEs in English and Mathematics for students who need to catch up with these. Every Year 12 student participates in our Chace + Personal Development programme, offering a wide range of courses to support academic curiosity and wellbeing.
