Mayor Emma Supple has chosen to support Insight Enfield Sort It!, One-to-One Enfield and The Whitewebbs Museum of Transport during her year in office.
Although each organisation has a very different focus, they all play an important role in our community.
Insight Enfield Sort It! supports young people and families affected by substance misuse, offering advice, education and early intervention to help young people make positive choices for the future.
One-to-One Enfield works with autistic adults and people with learning disabilities, helping individuals build confidence, develop life skills and become active members of the community. We recently had the pleasure of attending the charity’s wonderful Sing Out Choir performance and saw first-hand the joy, friendship and sense of belonging it creates.
The Mayor has also chosen to support The Whitewebbs Museum of Transport, a much-loved volunteer-run museum that preserves Enfield’s rich transport and engineering heritage while welcoming thousands of visitors each year.
We think it’s fantastic to see three organisations that represent such different parts of our community being recognised. Whether it’s supporting vulnerable residents, empowering people to live more independently or protecting our local history, each one makes a valuable contribution to life in Enfield.
We’ll be following the Mayor’s fundraising activities throughout the year and look forward to sharing the events, campaigns and opportunities for our community to get involved.
