The London New Year’s Day Parade brings together performers and participants from across London and beyond, with huge crowds lining the streets of the capital and many more watching around the world.
Now there is an opportunity for Enfield to proudly tell its own story, and this is where our community comes in.
The Mayor of Enfield is looking for residents, community organisations, schools, charities, businesses, performers and volunteers who would like to contribute ideas or get involved in bringing Enfield’s parade entry to life.
Ideas could include creative themes and concepts, music and dance, performers, floats or vehicles, community participation and ways of celebrating Enfield’s history, culture, diversity and local landmarks.
There are also opportunities for local businesses to get involved through sponsorship, alongside proposals for funding and practical support.
This could be a wonderful opportunity to bring different parts of our borough together around one big project, from our schools and young people to community organisations, creatives, businesses and volunteers.
And with Enfield being represented on the streets of central London, it’s a chance to show a huge audience just how much our borough has to offer.
Have you got an idea?
It doesn’t need to be a fully formed parade plan. If you have a creative idea, a skill you could contribute, a group that would love to participate or a business interested in supporting the project, the Mayor would like to hear from you.
📅 Deadline: Friday 21 August 2026 at 12 noon
📧 Proposals, including any outline costs where relevant, should be sent to [email protected]
Let’s see what Enfield can create and hopefully start 2027 with our borough proudly on show in the heart of London. 💚
