What a pleasure it was to be surrounded by so many of Enfield’s furry friends and their owners!
There was a wonderful community atmosphere throughout the afternoon, with dogs of all shapes and sizes taking part in the fun dog show, competing for prizes in some brilliant categories, including longest lashes and having a go on the agility course.
There were certainly a few very proud owners… and even prouder dogs heading home with their prizes!
But behind all the fun was an important purpose.
The event was raising money for three fantastic local charities chosen by the Mayor of Enfield:

A huge congratulations must go to Clare from Muddy Mutleys, who worked incredibly hard to bring the whole event together. Community events like this take a huge amount of work behind the scenes, and it was lovely to see so many local people come along and support it.
A big thank you also goes to the organisations and businesses who supported the event, including Hello Vet, Friends of Bury Lodge Park, The Little Green Dragon, Edmonton & Enfield Chase Rotary and, of course, Muddy Mutleys.
This is exactly the kind of afternoon we love at Love Your Doorstep — local people, businesses and community organisations coming together, enjoying themselves and supporting some brilliant causes right here in Enfield.
